Go to your local orphanage. Call your local place of adoption. Find out how many children have no homes, no love, and no parents. Unwanted children left alone in this world. Times that by 1000 and that is what you get by saving the lives of unborn fetuses. Think about it people. You may not like it, but there are much more things to be concerned about. Like child abuse, rape and abandonment.
This is what I hear,” I am pro life, a life is a life, it doesn’t matter if you were rapped, or could die, or couldn’t care for the child. Give it life so it can stay in a child adoption agency till GOD knows when”
Im sorry, but this really aggravates me. Instead of dealing with the children we already have on this earth that are suffering, lets put more there!! Good job, pat yourself on the back pro lifers.

Actually, I read an article by a man who was part of the legal team that worked really hard to get abortion legalized and he said that they blew the numbers way out of proportion to inflate the health risk of illegal abortion. I’m not naive, I know that making it illegal won’t stop it completely. It will still go on. But, perhaps as a culture we can acknowledge that the baby is a person. Perhaps parents will start doing their jobs. Perhaps people will start taking responsibility for their actions. What you need to ask yourself is why you don’t see unborn babies as people? Why does destroying the nest of a bald eagle come with outrageous fines and jail time, but a baby has no rights at all? What’s the difference between what Casey Anthony did and what happens in clinics across the country every minute? It’s about calling a duck a duck. Snorting Cocaine is illegal, when people choose to do it anyway they take their own health into their hands. Abortion should be looked at the same way! If you want to do it, it’s at your own risk, don’t look to the rest of us to pay for it or condone it because it’s wrong.

if you were successful in abolishing legalized abortion what would be your answer to the millions of unsafe illegal abortions that would follow?
My answer would be that the killing of innocent unborn children would be classified as it has rightly been classified in the past, as a crime. That only makes sense when you consider that one of the main roles of government is to protect the helpless in society and to secure their right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of hapiness.
While I can have compassion for a woman who feels trapped by her circumstances and sees abortion as the only way out, that doesn’t mean that my compassion extends to approval of taking the life of an innocent victim. While I would feel sorry for a woman that suffered harm from an illegal abortion it’s really no different from feeling sorry for someone who felt that breaking any other law was the best way to fix what was going wrong in their life.
Abolishing legal abortions would take away the “safety net” that has been established to allow people to think only about the pleasure of the moment without considering the possible consequences to come. If there was a news story or two about an unfortunate woman suffering physical harm as the result of an illegal abortion it would serve as a deterrent factor just like criminal penalties serve as a deterrent factor in other areas where people are tempted to violate the law in order to get a “quick fix” for the circumstances their own behavior has brought about in their lives.
