Trusting European Data That The Swine Flu Vaccine Is Safe – How Do You Feel About That?

OTTAWA – The Canadian Press has learned Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq will approve the swine-flu vaccine today.
A senior government source confirmed the announcement will be made, allowing provinces and territories to proceed with H1N1 flu vaccinations as early as next week.
Two million doses of the swine-flu vaccine have already been shipped to the provinces and territories to await final sign-off from Ottawa.
The vaccine needed regulatory approval before the federal government could give the provinces and territories the green light to start the H1N1 flu shots.
Canadian clinical trials are still underway, but federal health authorities are relying on data from clinical trials done in Europe.
Pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline has a contract to produce 50.4 million doses of pandemic vaccine at its facility in Ste-Foy, Que. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/09102…

Have the Europeans actually completed their studies of the drug ?
What side effects were noted and are we the poor public going to be told the entirety of the European’s finding or will Health Canada go cherry picking over the report and give us information they think will guide us into making the right decision
If it all goes very wrong — we can’t sue the Europeans for data — Who can we sue The Health Minister the lab that made it the media for not telling the whole story
What is in this vaccine and why aren’t they telling the pregnant mothers they are aiming to vaccinate about the mercury in the shot ?
Pandemic ? Less than 1/2 of 1% is now considered a pandemic ? What about tuberclosis that is hovering around 15 % in the prison population and as high as 2 % in the general population ? If 1/2 of 1 % is a pandemic shouldn’t we be addressing TB as if it was the black plague of death ? Why the contributions why the lack of information?

  1. I guess the question would be, has your government exempted these drug manufacturers from lawsuits should you have unsafe side effects, like the U.S. has done?

  2. I got my regular flu shot and will NOT be getting the swine flu vaccine .. I am not alone in thinking that they rushed to make this “vaccine” all too fast and will like to see the outcome next yr when all the “side effects” begin to appear… Maybe its a kind of population control LOL… Who better to give it to first then young children, pregnant women and the ones with existing medical conditions.. Something to think about

    When they know damn well it was YAT (yahoo answers team).How hard is it to figure it out.Unless u are not smarter than a 5th grader.
