If Nationalized Health Care Is Passed In The Us, Where Will Desperately Ill People Go For The Best Care?

People come to America for the best health care because of our free market HC.
Those from countries with Socialized HC flock here to get treatments their country will not provide.
US politicians will not have the same HC you & I will receive.
Seniors beware; Sen. Dianne Feinstein had seniors forcibly removed because they disliked the HC bill.http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cg…

  1. As a medical professional, I would hate to see the government run health care. You should see the problems with medicare, and then you decide if you want the government dictating who lives and who dies.
We need reforms but not by the government. Remember Congress could not efficiently run their own restaurant, and look at the failed programs they do run.
We must stop them for once a program gets into place, it is nearly impossible to rescind it.

  2. They’ll go overseas to foreign countries. But that will lead to a new problem:
“For-fee medical care will be made available in places like India and Latin America, where trained professionals already reside and where new investment into medical capital will be poured, and many Americans will take advantage of it. When that happens — and it surely will — there will be an outcry led by the political classes and the statist media against “medical tourism,” and laws will be passed criminalizing leaving the USA for any medical care that allegedly is available here. Thus, the government effectively will build its own “Medical Iron Curtain.”"

  3. Americans go to Mexico, Canada, and increasingly India, because the same procedures can be obtained in those countries for a small fraction of the price they would have to pay in the US.
We may have the best trauma care in the world, but our overall outcomes are 37th best, even though we pay twice as much as anyone else for coverage.
The question you should ask is how many Europeans, Canadians, and Australians would choose to give up their national health care for a US-style for-profit system?

The same place many of them are going now:
India, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Costa Rica, Panama, …
“Whiplash was just the first agony that Kevin Miller, 45, suffered in a car accident last July. The second was sticker shock. The self-employed and uninsured chiropractor from Eunice, La., learned that it would cost $90,000 to get the herniated disk in his neck repaired. So, over the objections of his doctors, he turned to the Internet and made an appointment with Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok, the marble-floored mecca of the medical trade that–with its liveried bellhops, fountains and restaurants–resembles a grand hotel more than a clinic. There a U.S.-trained surgeon fixed Miller’s injured disk for less than $10,000. “I wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another procedure,” says Miller, who was recovering last week at the Westin Grande in Bangkok…”

The truth is that good quality Health Care is available in Canada and other Socialist Health Care countries but you must pay for it out of pocket. Doctors are opening clinics to earn the money that they can’t when they get paid by the Government. If you want good health care you come the US or pay for it yourself.

  6. Very , very sadly I say this . If you actually get a copy of the bill and read or wade through it you will find on page 454 or 554 that what our potentate is shooting for is basically like a genocide where he gets rid of all the people like that and the old , and the druggies , and the aids patiets and on and on to free up space for the economy to grow.

  7. I dont know, that’s a good question. God bless.
@ Law girl: If you think it wont change the level of care Americans are receiving right now, you’re living in a dream world. I suggest you take a look at Canada and great Britain’s failed national health care system if you think that’s the case. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdx_2cuPg…

  8. Obama Dems/Marxist goals are to unite with other socialist oligarchy dictatorships and create a world wide nanny welfare state. There will be no escape if they succeed with this health bill. If we let them!! This is getting scary.

  9. Unfortunately, they won’t go.
It will be rationed care and this is part of Obama’s plan, to end life for some.
He doesn’t give 1 hoot about our health care– it’s all about HIS POWER & CONTROL!
    Wake up people!

  10. They are being told to pop pills, for their pains,…. no medical procedures…. by the Great Messiabama, he is turning everyone into a… medical drug addict, …then after that they go into the medical waste basket!

  11. If not overseas away from the prying eyes of the AMA, then to the black market docs sure to spring up. Probably right over the borders.

  13. We’ve heard for so long how much better Cuba’s care is than ours. My question is:
Why isn’t Ted Kennedy getting his brain treated in Cuba instead of here in the US?

  14. Do like the American Indian did, go to a cave with your blanket and wait for the end, Obama will be proud of you

  15. back of the line.

  16. They won’t be coming here , maybe some other place where money talks and bs walks

  17. When Rome fell, that was it. The Dark ages will again be upon us.

  18. The health care reform that is being considered will not change the level of care that we receive. The government will not run healthcare, only the manner in which it is paid for.
You have a sun-filled day as well!!

  19. To the hospital, which a lot of them cannot afford to do now because of our present system.
