Healthier Choice: Skim Milk, Low-fat Milk, Or Whole Milk?
I understand that milk is essentially an emulsion of fat and protein in water, along with dissolved sugar, minerals (including calcium and phosphorus), and vitamins, particularly vitamin B complex…but which out of those three choices are the most rewarding to your health in terms of nourishing the body for a growing child, an adult, and for seniors?
NOTE: this question is not about “fat” or “diet”
Milk contains many lipids, amino acids,b-vitamins,fat,and a load of other things. Drink one ot two glasses a day is optimum. But, the problem is all the hormones added to it. Drinking too much milk can disturb your hormonal balance as well. I think drinking the milk in your cereal everyday is good enough.
Consuming milk will help you reach new heights in growth, but be careful in your intake.
Healthier choice? I prefer low-fat over skim because it contains more vitamins and minerals. Skim is watered down.
If you want to be a “health freak”, you can buy rice or soy milk which is very healthy for you.
Milk is good for baby cattle. It is not good for humans in any form… period.http://www.drmcdougall.com/misc/2007nl/m…http://www.notmilk.com/d.htmlhttp://www.notmilk.com/tudrmac.htmlhttp://www.rense.com/general63/ddia.htmhttp://www.sciencenews.org/pages/sn_arc9…http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/…http://www.strongbones.org/http://www.nature.com/ejcn/journal/v59/n…http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query…
