Health Science B.s?

I’m a Senior in High school, and would like to apply to UCLA. I’m wondering if a B.S in Health Science would be a good Idea for entry to Pharmacy school?

  1. I would suggest Biochemistry instead. And I don’t think there is a B.S. in Health Sciences here at UCLA

  2. Not really other than to show you can handle college level work. A much better BS degree would be in either chemistry or biology or even math (but less so than the other two) Chemistry would be the best because that is what you as a pharmacist would be dealing with.
    Pharmacy is an excellent choice for a career goal. The employment opportunities are nearly endless and the pay scale is one of the best for people out of graduate school.
