Did You No That The Senior Citizens League (tscl) (alterntive Group To Aarp) Is Fighting The Health Takeover?

and running surveys to find people’s positions such as whether as an alternate way to dealing with the preexisting condition of age, members would support adding those 55 and above to medicare? (Presumably with funding, but even without it would be less of a hit than they’d take under Obama’s plan).
Aren’t targetted approaches to hit the preexisting condition issue really the way to go rather than having the 15% uncovered push what happens to the 85% who are covered? Isn’t that the tail wagging the dog?
I think the only real cure is to drop costs which requires something like portable savings plans and credits for health care costs for all, but for the immediate so called drivers, the preexisting conditions, how would you handle that?
Note that medicaid already covers the poor and kids whose parents make up to $80,000 are already covered. More money was recently put into that, but for our seniors they want to cut medicare by half a trillion to cover tens of millions more. Money is being sent overseas hand over fist as well. Doesn’t our government have its priorities wrong?

  1. the government has just about everything wrong, seems like they will listen to nothing and that is why we have to keep up the hollering and yelling in order to get their attention. i have been trying to email my senator from arkansas for 7 weeks and every msg. sends back a failure notice, says his inbox is full and is accepting no more messasges. – how about that!!!!!

  2. As people get older their minds get weaker and they are more easily misled. This is what make them the prime targets of most con’s.

  3. Because the republicans are telling them men in black vans will come to their house and ask them when and how they want to die.

  4. Good for them, maybe Americans should wake up to the disaster that is about to happen.

  5. No, I did not KNOW that. I wonder what insurance lobby group created it.

  6. Know. I didn’t no.

  7. I wonder where you got this information?
On their website, I find NO evidence of their stance on the health care plan, and NO surveys, just petitions about Social Security and Medicare. The health care bill isn’t even listed on their “track important bills’ page.
Perhaps you could go through their website and find this for me, for my erudition? Here it is:http://www.seniorsleague.org/index.php?o…
