Can You Read My Story On “senior Fun” And See If It’s Good?? *best Answer* (8th Grade)?

Just read it and tell me what you’d give me if you were to grade me. And if you find any mistakes, PLEASE point them out. (Not only grammatically but in “Voice” too. If it’s JUICY to read) For A BIGGER CHANCE of best answer, please ADD THE juicy-ness to it so make it more enjoyable to read. Thanks. I’m in the 8th grade so this shouldn’t be TOO hard. lol and DON’T say it’s TOO long TO READ!
Other than THAT, THANKS SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
Senior Fun
It’s senior year at 194. The majority of the eighth graders are more than thrilled! Being eighth graders we have more privileges than any other grade in the school. One privilege we have is our senior trip. Then comes our senior dance. Oh and you certainly can’t forget about our graduation. It’s the perfect cherry on top of the year.
Our senior trip will be held a Holiday Hills resort. Our mode of transportation is a huge coach bus. We have to get to school really early since we will depart at approximately 7:30 am. The bus ride will be really long and tiring. Luckily when we get there, there will be a buffet which will serve us breakfast. Oh and you can’t forget about lunch. We will have burgers and onion rings. Unfortunately, I dislike onion rings but then again there will be sandwiches to even everything out. There are people, however who don’t want to eat too much because they’re health conscious. Don’t worry if you’re one of them. There are always salads to eat, if you’re trying to avoid fatty foods. Oh and now comes my favorite part-DESSERTS! Cakes, chocolate crème pies and ice-cream all gets me hyped up for the outdoor activities.
There’s going to be rock climbing which is pretty cool even though I’m not the best rock climber around. But there’s always going to be swimming to top it off. I know I’d look great in a swimsuit, but unfortunately I’m not allowed to wear anything too revealing. There is however an unfamiliar sport which I can take part in – Kayaking – but it doesn’t hurt to try new stuff! Still, beware, there’s a lot of danger in the lake.
Speaking of danger, I’m really scared of the senior dance. I have no clue of what to wear or who to go out with. But hearing it’s an elegant place, the Villa Burome, I’m sure I’ll find some cute guy over there to dance with. Speaking of dancing did I tell you there’s a DJ? DJ music isn’t really my type, but for some reason I always end up dancing. Afterwards, all that dancing is going to get me hungry and thirsty. That’s why there’s a huge buffet with good and drinks for us thirsty dancers. I’m sure going to need a lot of punch after dancing in a huge, heavy blue-laced gown with straps. I’m expecting the guy I dance with wears a tuxedo and nice black polished shoes.
After all this fun stuff, comes graduation-which is pretty serious. I’m more than positive I’m graduating with high test scores but I’m not sure everyone else is. In order to graduate, we have to meet the qualifications and criteria: test scores, class scores(65+ average), and at least ninety percent attendance. Those of us who are graduating will have color coded gowns based upon gender. The boys will receive blue gowns and the girls will receive white gowns. I’m going to be so proud of my self standing in the stages of Herbert Lehman High School with my parents being there for me clapping as I take a bow. Since my dad is great in taking pictures and editing them, he’ll take the pictures. My mom’s going to be really emotional seeing her little angel go off to high school. However, I’m really not the emotional type. I’m more laid back! I’m actually going to be excited to get out of the eighth grade and go on to high school rather than be sad to leave everyone behind.
For me, honestly, I have to say that eighth grade sounds like an awesome year, one of the best in my life! There’s nothing better than being seniors. You have so much fun. Such an extravaganza! I’m looking forward to Senior Fun!
Okay, it’s done. [= A lot of it is just a bunhca crap I made up to get the GRADE. Half of it isn’t even what I THINK. Lol, but please don’t make comments about that. I’m trying to do w/e I can to maintain good grades! [= [= [=

  1. It’s fine until you get to this part…’Oh and now comes my favorite part-DESSERTS! Cakes, chocolate crème pies and ice-cream all gets me hyped up for the outdoor activities.’
I’d leave out ‘oh’ here and just start with ‘Now’.
You get too many ‘oh’s’ and you tend to spoil the effect I feel.
Instead of a hyphen use … just before DESSERTS!
‘ all get me ‘ instead of plural.
‘my self’ is one word, myself.
’standing on the stage of Herbert…’ instead of ’standing in the stages of Herbert…’
I don’t think you need the ‘being there for me’. It seems to work fine just left out.
Keep editing, maybe break it into paragraphs with a new one for each new idea.
A great piece of writing, you should get high marks at this level:)
