Why Would My Guppy Be Turning Black?

MY MALE GUPPY IS TURNING BLACK! Why would my orange tail and yellow body guppy be turning black? I’m so worried…He is going to have a family soon and my dad says it’s because he is dieing! HELP ME!!!! Is there any way to stop it? medicine? heat? is he sick? medicine? MEDICINE!?
If he dies i’m going to cry alot so please don’t make any jokes out of this, all I want is for my guppy to be able to live with his mate and his soon-coming babies. Please help!!! His tail is orange still and his yellow body is black/lite gray, the only yellow left is his neck and head! HELP! I only had him since the begining of January!

    Chill :) He will be fine. He is going to have a family soon. They’ll have alot of children soon… I had a Gold snake skinned guppy. (Yellow black dots ) One day his tail turned Orange… Its just colour change… Good luck with your guppy family!

    He’s just going through a color change, which is normal. =]
    I hope he’ll be happy with his new family!!
