How Early Have Some Women Reported Having Pregnancy Symptoms?
My breast are sore and I’m only 9dpo. I’ve never had sore breasts before menstration…could this be an early pregnancy symptom?
How early have some women reported having pregnancy symptoms?
Most common on 9 days past ovulation with 12.4% of pregnant women experiencing it.
Changes to your breasts can begin very soon after conception. This might be your first clue that you are pregnant! Increasing levels of hormones cause increased blood flow and changes to the breast tissue. As milk ducts and milk-producing cells develop your breasts may feel swollen, tender or very sensitive to touch. You may also feel throbbing, burning sensation or itchiness. Your breasts may also grow in size, feel heavy or change in shape.
An egg doesn’t implant until 8dpo. It takes 5 days for the egg to travel to uterus and 3 days to barrel into the lining & begin development of the placenta.
Usually the hcg levels are not high enough to show any symptoms until 10dpo. These symptoms are nausea and implantation bleeding and sensations (cramping, tickling or fullness feelings) caused by implantation.
Constipation can occur being around week 4. This is caused by increasing progesterone which cause the digestive tract to slow down.
Sore breast usually occurs around 4 weeks of pregnancy (but commonly during 2nd month of pregnancy & is accompanied by changes in the breast– heaviness and darkening of Areola).
Headaches usually don’t occur in the 1st trimester. They are caused by high estrogen levels seen in 2nd and 3rd trimester.
The one hormone that presents itself differently from a cycle without an pregnancy is the hcg. Progesterone and Estrogen don’t elevate greatly enough before af to make sufficient changes in the body. That’s why it hard to distinguish between PMS symptoms and early pregnancy. Hcg causes nausea as does low levels of B6. Progesterone is the hormone that causes almost all the other symptoms including heightened sense of smell.
With my 1st pregnancy I developed symptoms around 7 weeks. With the 2nd it was immediately after my 1st missed period, nausea, tiredness….With the 3rd, I had symptoms before I missed a period. I started having extreme headaches, fatigue, and using the bathroom a lot. Every pregnancy is different and for every person. Listen to your body and you’ll know when somethin is not the norm. Good luck to you!
