Are You Thankful For Your Driving Privileges?
I’ve had bypass surgery, hip and knee replacements, fought diabetes and cancer. I’m half blind and don’t hear well. I take 40 different medicines a day, some make me drowsy. My circulation is poor and I have mild dementia. I can’t remember if I’m 75 or 85, but I thankful I still have my driver’s license.
Yes I am, but could you please give us notice when you’re going to be on the road?
I wonder if my mom had twins and gave one of us away or if your mom had twins and gave one of you away. We sound a lot alike and yes I am, I just get scared that someday I will lose my way home. I am so bad I park in the same spot at the store because I have walked up to the wrong car and tried to get in and the people came up to me and accused me of trying to break in and then they helped me find my car, how awful that was they were so kind…
You bet your sweet life I am. I didn’t learn to drive until I was 26 & pregnant. We lived in the boon docks and my hubby was at sea. I drove myself to the hosp. to give birth in the middle of a blizzard in Port Townsend,Washington. Best thing I ever did to help myself and later my precious Mother, learning how to drive that is. Hubby was at sea a lot while serving in the U.S. Navy. I needed that drivers license bad.
Well …….. absolutely ! ….. I had an ecliptic seizure sometime back
and lost my driving privileges ….. I’ll be getting them back this month …..
Very Thankful ….I will take my medicine ….faithfully ! …Take care of yourself ….
I’m just happy to be alive after suffering from a cerebral aneurysm eight years ago…”grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren”.
i’m in fairly good health, but my eye sight and my reactions aren’t like they use to be…so yes i am thankful. no accidents in over 20 years, my fault or otherwise.
I still enjoy driving and my jb depends upon it sometimes. I’m very thankful.
