The very best center is your own kitchen. I speak from experience.
I had Stage 4 with lesions all over my body except for my head. I got rid of it in two weeks. That was nine years ago.
All it took were freshly grated habeneros peppers and freshly grated garlic. I put it on bread and covered it with butter.
If the person has never been able to tolerate hot peppers, then freshly grated ginger is a good substitute.
I also took mint flavored emulsified cod liver oil (Twin Lab). If I'd been losing weight or having fluid retention, then evening primrose oil should replace the cod liver oil.
About a year ago, researchers from UCLA confirmed the power of hot peppers when they shrank tumors by 80%. By combining the peppers with freshly grated garlic, the effect is much more potent.
Cancer is a weak cell when it is faced with the power of peppers and garlic. The oils help to restore a more balanced metabolism. Cancer only survives when the metabolism is unbalanced.
You should know that metastatic melanoma has a very poor outcome using the treatments that doctors offer.

Malignant melanoma arises from melanocytes in a pigmented area: skin, mucous membranes, eyes, and CNS. Metastasis is correlated with depth of dermal invasion. With spread, prognosis is poor. Diagnosis is by biopsy. Wide surgical excision is the rule for operable tumors. Metastatic disease requires chemotherapy but is difficult to cure.
Please see the web pages for more details on Melanoma.

There are medical research facilities and universities that are networked throughout the United States designated as Comprehensive Cancer Centers. What this means is that they share the latest research information with each other to provide the best possible treatment available for that particular cancer. You can find a list of the comprehensive cancer centers at the National Cancer Institute site:
Comprehensive Cancer Centers by statehttp://cancercenters.cancer.gov/cancer_c…
National Comprehensive Cancer Networkhttp://www.nccn.org/
NCI: Cancer Centers Programs http://cancercenters.cancer.gov/cancer_c…
You might benefit from contacting other patients with metastatic melanoma and asking what treatments options are currently available:
ACOR: Email Melanoma Support Group http://listserv.acor.org/archives/melano…
Melanoma Patients Communityhttp://www.mpip.org/
Melanoma Centerhttp://www.melanomacenter.org/
American Melanoma Foundationhttp://www.melanomafoundation.org/
Best to you.
