4 Responses to “How Long Does It Take To Get Results Back From A Blood Test?”
It depends on exactly what the test is….where is the test done ,is it processed on site, like a hospital, or does it have to be sent off somewhere. There is no standard answer, call your Dr and ask when you can expect your results back.
It depends on your hospital, and if GP requested for them all to be done together as in a full blood count which can take a week.A glucose tolerance test for sugar can be quicker and the last one can be done in a full blood count.Your GP will be able to inform you about the length of time.Hope this helps.

From a doctors office, anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks.
It takes time and sometimes they have to allow the blood to sit.
