Can A Terminal Cancer Patient Go To The Usa For Care?

I’m wondering if a terminal cancer patient can go to the USA for palliative care. I know there is a medical Visa for getting treatment in the USA, but what about for hospice/palliative care? Is it possible?

  1. You do not give the nationality, but in principle, there should not be a problem. USA is probably the most expensive place in the world for such treatment, so you would have to establish that you had the funds. Also, if they are going to stay until the end, then you will have to take into account their funeral wishes.

It would be finding a place that accepted the insurance that would matter, the ins carrier should be able to help with a list of known contracted places if any here in the US.
